Buddy Matthews is an Australian professional wrestler currently performing on All Elite Wrestling. He was born on September 26, 1988, in Melbourne, Australia. His real name is Matthew Adams and he is also known for his work in WWE under the name Buddy Murphy and simply Murphy.

Matthews made his professional debut at the age of 19 in the Australian Independent Circuit before he caught the eyes of WWE and signed there in 2013. During his time there, Murphy won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, NXT Tag Team Championship and the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. He left the promotion in 2021 and joined AEW the next year, where he has been a member of House of Black since then and won the AEW World Trios Championship.
