The 2024 NBA Draft continues to inch closer as several young prospects prepare for the possibility of joining the big league. In preparation for it, the Draft Combine took place last May 12-19, providing a look into the physical attributes and skill sets of each player. With teams eyeing the player that fits their needs, there are certain players with incredible wingspans.

Athletes such as Zach Edey and Donovan Clingan present an intimidating presence at the rim with their wingspans. For teams looking to land a steady defensive big man, looking over their results from the combine should prove to be an asset in their assessment.

Alexandre Sarr played just one season with the Perth Wildcats and has the right physique to transition smoothly to the NBA. The young forward has showcased an impressive verticality that is coupled with a 7-4.25 wingspan for a commanding defensive presence at the rim.

#4. Kel'el Ware (7-4.5)

Kel'el Ware previously started his collegiate career with the Oregon Ducks before playing one season with the Indiana Hoosiers. The jump in his game is an incredible improvement as he has maximized his height and wingspan at the rim. When he's not utilizing his 7-4.5 wingspan in catching lobs, he has a great feel at the post area for some spot-up and fadeaway jumpers.

Defensively, he is listed at 7 feet, as a moving shot-blocking center at the rim. The upside is there, including his promising playmaking ability for a big man.

#3. N'Faly Dante (7-6)

The NBA draft prospect has improved on his post touches as well as his decision-making in a halfcourt setting. His defensive presence at the rim is evident given the size and verticality that he provides.
