The New Orleans Pelicans are the top team in the Western Conference this season, and their team chemistry has a lot to do with it. As they revealed which teammate they wanted for "Secret Santa," fans couldn't help but laugh at their choices.

Ironically, the three players chosen the most by the entire team were Brandon Ingram, CJ McCollum and Zion Williamson. All three have had massive contracts since 2020, making them the most paid players on the team.

As others were choosing who they wanted as their Secret Santa, Ingram hilariously listed down the things he wanted for Christmas. Shockingly, a mention of a helicopter was included in the one-time All-Star's wish list.

Fans enjoyed the content from the Pelicans and found everything to be entertaining. Here are some of the best reactions from the fans.

The video was all in good fun, however, and a few Pelicans could make a good choice as Secret Santa. McCollum re-signed with New Orleans before the start of the season for two years worth $64 million. Ingram is also a player who can be everyone's Secret Santa.

In 2020, BI signed a five-year $158 million contract extension to stay in New Orleans. With that deal, he can buy the things that he mentioned in the video himself, including the helicopter.

Before the start of the 2022-23 NBA season, experts chose the New Orleans Pelicans as their favorite to be in the Western Conference finals. They're currently at the top of their conference with a seven-game winning streak, and making it to the conference finals could come as a reality for them.

Thanks to the leadership of their All-Star forward Zion Williamson, the Pelicans have risen to the top of the standings. With Williamson, the team is now a threat and the favorite to win the Larry O'Brien Trophy. Preseason predictions by experts are slowly coming true.

The Pelicans are on a seven-game winning streak, and Williamson is averaging 30.0 points, 9.1 rebounds and 5.3 assists while shooting 66.9%, including 33.3% from 3-point range. His presence has helped the team become a more well-rounded squad capable of being a matchup nightmare.

Offensively, the Pelicans are ranked fifth with 115.3 ppg, and defensively, they are third with 108.4. They've been able to sustain a level-headed style of play this year.

New Orleans could exceed its ceiling of making it to the conference finals and be a legitimate finals squad with the way they've been playing. Additionally, coach Willie Green has led them excellently this year. They're a very well-balanced group which catch opponents off guard.
