In five games at Houston, Wood has three Double-Doubles and has scored at least 20 points each time.

More importantly, Wood's shot has been efficient, as he has made 55% of his field goals. Even though his three-point percentage has not been great (27%), he has still been able to help the Houston Rockets' offense.

Wood's rim protection has also been great for the Houston Rockets, as he averages two blocks per night. Overall, he is averaging 23 points and 10 rebounds per game.

Center - Myles Turner (Indiana Pacers)

Myles Turner is an underrated rim protector and an overall great defender. Turner has been the Indiana Pacers' rock on defense and protects the paint against penetrating guards or scoring big men.

Even though he is known as a defensive rim protector, Turner is also an opportunistic scorer who is averaging 13 points for the Indiana Pacers in the current season.

His shot-blocking ability has been in full display in the 2020-21 NBA season. Turner is leading the league in blocks per game with 3.6 (the second-placed player is at 2.2) and even recorded a game with eight blocks, matching the best tally of his career.

His Defensive Rating of 98 is the best on the Indiana Pacers' roster and the fifth-best in the NBA.
