World-famous WWE wrestler Ric Flair recently had high praise for LeBron James. He dubbed James the greatest of all time over Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain.

The debate has been ongoing for years on who the GOAT of basketball is between James and Jordan. Although there is no clear parameter used in making such a decision, many have used the number of championships as a yardstick.

In that regard, MJ is leading the race as he has won six championships in six NBA Finals appearances compared to James' four in ten appearances. However, some have argued that James is the greatest because of his longevity and all-around impact.

Flair took to Twitter to give his take on the conversation. He highlighted that watching James has been an absolute delight, stating that even if James never picks up a basketball again, he is the GOAT.

Via his Twitter page, he said:

"Watching You Right Now! LeBron, If You Never Play Another Minute, Score Another Point, Or Win Another Game!! YOU ARE THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!! FYI- I Know Michael, Magic And Met Wilt !! SO MUCH RESPECT!!!Wooooo @KingJames"

James, in partnership with Anthony Davis, has started to get the LA Lakers back to winning ways. Despite putting together an incredible 8-2 run, they have lost their last two games with their most recent loss at the hands of the Toronto Raptors.

Coming into the season, fans looked forward to James breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's scoring record. He had to score 1,326 points to set a new record, and the four-time NBA champ is off to a great start.

So far, he has scored 439 points in 17 appearances. If LBJ averages 20 points over the next 44 games, he could set a new record before the season is over.

Health will play a major role in James' record chase. The Lakers captain has missed seven games so far this season due to injuries.

Coupled with the all-time scoring title, James is also moving up the ranks in the all-time assists leaderboard. Although it is very unlikely that he will topple John Stockton at the top of the list, he could break into the top five before he retires.
