Looking at the NBA players who have been fined for flopping

The NBA is taking measures on the new flopping rule this season. Each flop that will be called by officials will receive a fine from the league. The fines won't be heavy, given that the association is a cash cow of income. Players who are called for this violation receive a $2,000 fine.

Officials have been active in calling out players who commit this violation. The league is looking to double down in calling them out to make games more interesting to watch. This will also ensure that players put in the effort to defend opposing teams the proper way.

Last season, the NBA started to take notice of how players flop in games. LaMelo Ball was once given a warning for excessive flopping in the previous campaign.

Which NBA players were predicted to commit the most flops this season?

Prior to the start of the NBA season, many predicted which stars would be called out under the new flopping violation. Dillon Brooks was tipped to take the No. 1 spot this season. This isn't because many think he has the worst flop under his name, but because of how he defends certain players.

Marcus Smart and Kyle Lowry were also part of the list to potentially have the most flops called on them. The reigning NBA MVP, Joel Embiid, was included in the list. LeBron James wasn't left out as he's considered to flop occasionally. Former teammates Chris Paul and James Harden are both notorious for overreacting to a play, giving them the "flopper" label.
