Deandre Ayton was selected by the Phoenix Suns with the first overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft. The center has been performing well even though the Suns only picked up six wins and as many as 24 losses so far.
The Rookie has already registered 17 double-doubles this season and is currently averaging 15.6 points, 10.1 rebounds per game.
#3 Karl-Anthony Towns
Karl Anthony Towns agreed to a five-year $190 million mammoth contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves in the offseason. During the starting period of the 2018-19 season, the T-Wolves man struggled to get it going and had a string of disappointing performances.
