Hyland DeAndre Jordan Jr. plays centre for the Denver Nuggets in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on July 21, 1988, in Houston, Texas, U.S. DeAndre (6”11’ height) is pretty popular for his toughness and sportsmanship. He entered the NBA league in 2008 by joining the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2008 NBA draft.

Before shifting to the Dallas Mavericks in 2018, he spent 10 seasons with the Clippers. On November 9, 2016, Jordan played his 600th career game against the Portland Trail Blazers. He recorded a season-high 25 rebounds along with 13 points in a loss to the Pelicans on December 28. Under a 1-year deal, DeAndre joined the Dallas Mavericks on July 6, 2018. He began the season with three straight double-doubles. In a lost game against the Utah Jazz on October 28, 2018, Jordan posted 12 points, 19 rebounds and a career-high nine assists. He tied his season-high with 23 rebounds in a game against the Sacramento Kings on December 16.

DeAndre Jordan shifted to the New York Knicks on January 31, 2019. In a contest against the Spurs on March 15, he registered 11 points, 13 rebounds, and a career-high 9 assists. Jordan left the Knicks soon to sign a four-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets in July 2019. He recorded 2 points, 3 rebounds, and one assist in a 17-minute play against the Timberwolves. Jordan secured his first double-double of the season on November 2, with 10 points and 10 rebounds against the Detroit Pistons. He attained a season-high 20 rebounds and 12 points in a game against the Atlanta Hawks on December 21.

Against the Golden State Warriors, DeAndre made his season debut for the Nets on December 22, 2020. He collected 4 points, 11 rebounds, and 1 assist in this game. He signed with the Lakers on September 9, 2021, and left the team on March 1, 2022. On March 3, Jordan joined the camp of the Philadelphia 76ers and then moved ahead to serve the Denver Nuggets in July 2022. DeAndre attended Episcopal High School based in Bellaire, Texas. He spent his junior year at this school, averaging 16.5 points and 14 rebounds. As a sophomore, Jordan averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds. However, he played his senior year at Christian Life Center Academy. DeAndre averaged 26.1 points and 15.2 rebounds per game in his senior year. He was also selected to be a Third-Team Parade All-American. Jordan was a member of Team USA for the 2007 Under-19 World Championships in Serbia in the summer of 2007. His team finished the campaign with an 8-1 record, and he played only 9 minutes each game.
