In one of the earlier games of the season, Trae Young filled up the stat sheet. He displayed his massive potential in a 133-111 win over Cleveland Cavaliers. Young torched the Cavs with 35 points and also notched 11 assists on only 1 turnover.

This performance has been the highlight of the rookie so far in his career. He also had a 25 points and 17 assists performance in a game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Trae Young has been averaging 15.6 points and 7.4 assists per game this season. He leads the rookies in assists per game. He has become a very vital player in the Hawks roster. His development will be critical to the Hawks success in the upcoming seasons.
