Shaquille O'Neal lives a lavish lifestyle, there's no doubt about it. Given his numerous business investments and strategic partnerships, O'Neal's net worth is estimated at nearly half a billion dollars. With a reported 172 restaurants and 150 car washes to his name, O'Neal has built an impressive business empire with the money he earned from the NBA.

One of the things O'Neal bought with his $400 million net worth was a Rolls Royce Phantom. Specifically, a 'Salamanca Blue' Rolls-Royce Phantom. O'Neal made several appearances alongside the car in various magazine shoots over the years before seemingly parting ways with the car.

According to a recent report, the car is now being included as part of a listing for a Texas house worth nearly $10 million. The 10,050-square-foot mansion in Houston, Texas, has seven bedrooms and apparently comes with a Rolls-Royce previously owned by O'Neal.

How did Shaquille O’Neal's net worth accumulate to $400 million

Shaquille O'Neal's net worth didn't climb to nearly half a billion dollars by accident. After being drafted by the Orlando Magic in 1992, O'Neal got to work in investing and making a name off his image. Appearing in commercials for brands like Icy-Hot and The General insurance, among others, Shaquille O'Neal's net worth continued to climb well after retirement.

Surprisingly, not all of O'Neal's money came from his earnings in the league. According to CelebrityNetWorth, O'Neal made $292 million from his NBA contracts. At the same time, however, he was racking up a lot of money from endorsements.

It created a strong foundation for O'Neal and his children so that even after he walked away from the game, his family's financial future was secure. Since then, O'Neal has only continued to diversify his portfolio, investing in more businesses across a wide range of industries.

Recently, the Hall of Famer was linked to a deal that could see him join a group in purchasing the Phoenix Suns. O'Neal was initially intimidated by the prospect of being in the running with the likes of Jeff Bezos. After an opportunity to join a group purchasing the team surfaced, it sounded as though he was interested.

Since then, however, there has been no further information about the plan. When it was announced Robert Sarver would be selling the Suns, the odds had Suns minority owner Jahm Najafi as the likely candidate. At the time, O'Neal wasn't even on the list. Since then, it sounds as though he could be interested if the deal is right.
