Donald Trump has been one of the most controversial US presidents. He's had several issues with the NBA, which is why many players celebrated when he lost to Joe Biden in 2020.

Despite losing the presidential election, Trump claimed that he had won. However, it was Biden who became the 46th US president and who moved to the White House.

During Trump's presidency, several NBA teams won championships, including the Golden State Warriors. However, all the champions refused to visit the White House as long as Trump was in it.

During his four-year presidency, Trump occasionally talked about the NBA. He always talked about the professional basketball league negatively and he even spoke about LeBron James.

The former US president also didn't like NBA players protesting and kneeling during the national anthem. This is a big reason why so many of them were happy when he lost the presidential election in 2020.

"You love to see it," Trae Young posted on his Twitter profile after Joe Biden took the lead in Georgia.

Tobias Harris was also happy that Biden took the lead in Pennsylvania, the state where the small forward plays.

Joel Embiid, who is nicknamed the Process, referred to his nickname and the process the Philadelphia 76ers went through during their rebuilding mode. "Trust the Process" is a phrase that was used by many Sixers fans back then.

Draymond Green and LeBron James were also happy that Donald Trump was defeated. Despite being fierce competitors on the floor, Green and James shared their disdain for the former president.

The two players were happy that they could finally go to the White House and celebrate their championship titles.

The Golden State Warriors were the first team to win an NBA title during Trump's presidency. They defeated LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2017 and 2018, but refused to go to the White House.

The Toronto Raptors won it all in 2019, while LeBron captured his fourth title in 2020, during Trump's last year as US president.
