NBA fans trolled Iman Shumpert's ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole after her latest Tweet alluding to Travis Hunter's fiancee facing online backlash. The YouTuber defended Leanna Lenee on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday.

The social media influencer called out social media users:

"Yall weird. Wrap this Travis Hunter girlfriend news cycle up by noon. Thank you."

Fans on X turned against her, however.

"lmfao girl this proves nothing. you’re telling people to leave Travis Hunter’s gf alone but cant leave Iman Shumpert & Travis Kelce alone. make it make sense," a fan wrote.

"Travis Kelce hasn’t touched you in 3 years yet you still talk about him for engagement," another fan wrote.

One of the fans trolled Nicole in the same tone.

Some called her out for being spiteful when she dressed up as Teyana Taylor after her breakup with Iman Shumpert, who was then dating Taylor.

"Didn’t you dress up as Teyana Taylor because of Iman? 😂😂😂," a fan wrote.

"Like you literally dressed up as Teyana Taylor to be spiteful girl goodbye! You’re definitely weird," another fan wrote.

Some users slammed Kayla Nicole for continuing to talk about her past relationships for social media reach.

"Aren’t you on a media tour about an ex bf who dumped you years ago?" the fan wrote.

"lol she’s the ex of a football player and ex basketball player. i dont know her for anything else unfortunately but it’s all good!" a fan wrote.

Teyana Taylor fires back at Kayla Nicole for "distasteful" Iman Shumpert story

On Oct. 11, Kayla Nicole appeared on Angel Reese's "Unapologetically Angel" podcast and opened up about her connection to former NBA player Iman Shumpert.

"We weren’t in a relationship, but this is probably one of my favorite crazy Kayla stories," Nicole said. "I was dating a guy, and he dumped me through a text message, and he dumped me for this singer/actress, who was famous at that time."

Nicole added that while she was heartbroken they became the "celebrity iconic relationship." She also said that she had moved to New York just for the person and to move in with him.

"He breaks up with me, dumps me, moves on and for Halloween that year, I dressed up as her."

Teyana Taylor didn't hold back and fired back with a long response, slamming Kayla Nicole for her "famous at that time." remark.

"F..k the iman part, I'm divorced and happily so, however her choice of words were very distasteful and uncalled for."

Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert started dating in 2013 and married three years later in October 2016. The couple's divorce was finalized in 2023.
