The point guard was drafted in 2017 and has been with the Kings ever since. Fox has been an integral part of their offense since joining and is finally starting to see some positive outcomes from his efforts.

Happy to see the success coming from his team, De’Aaron Fox also spoke about what it means for him to live in Sacramento.

The city is often overlooked due to them not being places like Los Angeles, Miami, or even New York. Nonetheless, Fox believes that it is perfect for him.

De'Aaron Fox contributing above average stats in Kings' strong season start

De'Aaron Fox has been in the city for five years now and is a fan of the culture. Dedication like this is sure to seep in and help you grow sooner or later.

And it looks like Fox is doing some growth.

He finished last season having averaged 23.2 points. This season, he has grown to 24.3.

Fox’s 3.9 rebounds from last season grew to 4.9 this season, and his assists rose from 5.6 per game to 6.0.

Once criticized for his three-point shooting, the Kings guard seems to be working a little harder on that front.

In 18 appearances, Fox has maintained a field goal percentage of 52.2% and a 3-point percentage of 38.3%. Both are above his career averages.

It seems that De'Aaron Fox being comfortable in Sacramento is paying off for all parties. The growth seen by the team this season is to be revealed.

The Kings are not armed with superstars, but players like Domantas Sabonis and Malik Monk have helped Fox grow the team into who they are now.

We are of course only 20 games into the season at the moment, but nobody can argue that Sacramento is not looking better than expected.

De'Aaron Fox is doing a great job filling his role as the sole star of the city as the Kings look to continue refining their squad around the dedicated guard.
