Earlier today, there were reports from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowksi that Lonzo Ball will undergo a third surgery on his knee and could miss another full season. Despite the concerning news, fans couldn't help but share their reactions online regarding the status of the Chicago Bulls point guard.

According to reports, the surgery that Ball will go through could possibly make him healthy and available to play basketball again. However, he might miss another full season of action after the procedure, which had the fans share their reactions. The Athletic's Shams Charania confirmed this earlier today.

With that, we've collected some of the best reactions from fans on the internet. Here are some of the best reactions.

Ball hasn't played a game for the Bulls this season due to injuries to his left knee. Last season, he only had 35 games in action, but was luckily available in some of the most important games for the team. Lonzo averaged 13.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.1 assists last season.

This is the second season of his four-year $85 million deal with Chicago. Without Ball, the team is below average and could miss out on postseason action for this year's campaign.

Opting for retirement has never been easy for any athlete to consider. Whether they're a star for their team or simply a role player, considering retirement isn't an easy choice to make. However, it's one of the options that Lonzo Ball could possibly consider at this point in his career.

Throughout five seasons, he's never had the chance to play a full season. The most games he's played in his career are back in his third season. Ball played 63 games during his first season with the New Orleans Pelicans and averaged 11.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 7.0 assists.

Since then, the number of games he's played has slowly gone down and has been constantly unavailable for his teams. Ball is still an excellent basketball player, but his health has hindered him to be an effective piece of his career.

If things get worse than his current situation, he could seriously consider retirement. Pushing his body isn't an ideal thing to do and it could save his career.
