Aaron Gordon and the Western Conference-leading Nuggets (32-13) have been playing incredibly well this season. Their play has helped start a campaign for Nikola Jokic to win his third straight MVP award.

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith believes in the Nuggets. When asked which team in the NBA is the best, he didn't hesitate to choose Denver.

"The Denver Nuggets," Smith said. "Their depth is unquestionable, Jokic is enroute to becoming a three-time MVP, Jamal Murray is averaging 18 a game on 44% shooting, 38% from 3-point range and obviously he had those nasty knee injuries ... Aaron Gordon, I can't say enough about the way he's playing this year.
"So, when I look at that and then I take in the altitude, in Mile High. If you've got home-court advantage and there's a potential to four games there, that could be a death nail.
"Also, wanna give a little love to coach (Mike) Malone. He's doing an exceptional job. ... You could see they've got a level of adulation, of respect and genuine affection for him. He deserves a lot of credit."
