He is expected to play against the Clippers at the new Intuit Dome, where he will be honored with the video tribute. Fans voiced their opinions on the news, with one wondering if the Clippers have enough footage for the tribute, given his injury-plagued run with the franchise:

"Returning to familiar places, it's gonna be emotional because you spent so much time with these people and you've really counted them and looked at them as family. It's gonna be fun. I'm looking forward to it. Looking forward to the Wall."
