After making big changes to their roster this offseason, Anthony Edwards finds himself in more of a leadership role with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Following some blunt comments about the group's dynamic, others have started to share their feelings.

Currently in the midst of a four-game losing streak, the Timberwolves have dropped to 12th in the Western Conference with an 8-10 record. Edwards sounded off after their defeat to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday, saying that the group can't effectively communicate with one another.

After Anthony Edwards made his remarks to the media, other members of the Timberwolves were asked about what he said. Veteran guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker shared his thoughts. He admitted that it can be tough at times but felt that the group overall is starting to respond more positively.

"It's tough to be called out," Alexander-Walker said. "Because you start to feel like, OK, are you saying I'm the reason? No one wants to be at fault, but at the end of the day, I definitely think that guys are open to hearing it better."

The Timberwolves have gone through multiple changes roster-wise. Along with losing key veterans like Kyle Anderson, Karl-Anthony Towns was traded this offseason for Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo. Amid the changes, the new-look T-Wolves appear to be going through some growing pains.

What did Anthony Edwards say to the media about the Timberwolves' team dynamic?

Among those going through some of the most changes on the Minnesota Timberwolves is Anthony Edwards. With Towns no longer in the picture, he's the sole leader and pillar of the franchise moving forward.

As the losses continue to pile up, Edwards seems to be growing frustrated. In his latest rant to the media, he called out the team for being soft and not being able to properly communicate with one another.

"We soft as H*** as a team," Edwards said. "Internally we soft. Like we can't talk to each other, just a bunch of little kids. Just like playing with a bunch of little kids."

In recent weeks, there have been clear instances of a fractured team dynamic within the Timberwolves. One of the biggest examples being an interaction between Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert against the Toronto Raptors.

Late in the fourth quarter of a close game, Gobert sealed off his defender below the basketball. He called for the ball repeatedly, but Randle didn't give it to him. Gobert, frustrated, ended up getting called for offensive three seconds because he sluggishly got out of the paint.

Following the play, Anthony Edwards was visibly mad at how things unfolded, given the circumstances of the game. Minnesota ended up losing to the Raptors by five points.

If the Timberwolves want to have any chance of being a true contender in the West again this season, they will need to overcome their internal struggles.
