Kevin Durant has changed his team, but not his attitude. The 13-time All-Star still uses his Twitter to respond to others, and Charles Barkley is no exception. The Hall of Fame basketball player recently criticized Durant, prompting KD to respond.

Barkley said that LeBron James said he wanted to win without Dwyane Wade to get respect from older players. However, Durant doesn't think James ever said this.

"I don't remember Bron saying this," Durant posted on his Twitter account. "Somebody link me to the article."

Durant's tweet has had a lot of interesting replies, but it doesn't appear that anyone has been able to find this quote from LeBron.

Kevin Durant responded to Charles Barkley

Charles Barkley is one of the most decorated players in NBA history. During his 16-year career, the 6-foot-6 forward was named an All-Star 11 times and even won the MVP award for his impressive 1992-93 season.

However, Barkley didn't win a championship. He came very close to earning the ring in 1993, but was beaten by the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan. The legendary forward retired with zero rings.

Kevin Durant, on the other hand, didn't want to be remembered as a superstar who never won a ring. Due to this, the four-time scoring champion joined the Golden State Warriors in 2016, forming the most amazing super team of all time.

After winning two rings with the Warriors, KD joined the Brooklyn Nets in 2019, but he did not achieve any success there. Once again, he decided to join a super team as he was traded to the Phoenix Suns in early February.

This isn't the same thing he did in 2016. This time, Durant wasn't a free agent and was traded to a new team. Additionally, he did not join a team that eliminated him from the playoffs.

However, Charles Barkley still believes that the 2014 MVP should have stayed in Brooklyn. He should have been the leader that led his team to the promised land.

LeBron James won it all without Dwyane Wade

Like Kevin Durant, LeBron James was criticized for forming a super team in Miami in 2010. James took his talents to South Beach, joining D-Wade and Chris Bosh and winning two titles there.

However, the NBA's all-time leading scorer eventually returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers to win the first title in franchise history.

LeBron James also won a championship with the LA Lakers in 2020. He's won it all with every single team he's played for (in his second stint in Cleveland), and he's always been the best player, which is very impressive.

It will be interesting to see how good the Phoenix Suns will be with Kevin Durant. However, considering that he's one of the best scorers in the league, the Suns will most likely have a deep playoff run and possibly win it all.
