Draymond Green celebrates a play

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green found himself in trouble with Marcus Morris Sr. during Wednesday's game against the LA Clippers. With Morris and Green getting involved in a bit of a scuffle, NBA fans shared their reactions to the situation.

Wednesday's game against the LA Clippers kicked off the Golden State Warriors' five-game road trip. While this would be a routine situation for almost any other team, the Warriors faced a bit of an uphill battle given their road record this season.

Draymond Green was already docked for his 16th technical of the season. On the verge of being ejected from the game, the Dubs needed the forward to remain calm.

In the closing seconds of the second quarter, Green took a tumble to the floor after getting tangled up with Clippers forward Marcus Morris Sr. The situation escalated as the two started jawing at each other.

The situation looked bad for Green as he had already been assigned a tech and was on the verge of being ejected. However, upon further official review, it was found that Morris took a swing at Draymond, which caused the Warriors forward to hit the deck.

The result of the review saw Morris being assigned a flagrant 2 penalty. This would lead to him being ejected from the game.

With fans taking a look at the altercation and the result, they had to share their reaction to it. Here are some of the best ones:

Morris' swing could be in response to Draymond Green's actions on the other end of the floor. In the previous play, Green was allotted a tech for throwing the ball in Russell Westbrook's face after the latter scored.

Regardless, fans were certainly not impressed with the result of the matchup as Morris left the game. While this gave Golden State an opportunity to capitalize upon the loss of a key player, they failed to do so.

Coming up with a loss at the end of regulation, the Warriors have started their road trip off on a bad note.

Draymond Green suspended

Although Draymond Green walked out of the scuffle with Marcus Morris Sr. unscathed, he faces more serious challenges in the future. Having been assigned his 16th technical of the season, Green will be suspended for the next game.

The Golden State Warriors are set to face the Atlanta Hawks next. Given that the Dubs are already missing Andrew Wiggins, they will be seriously undermanned on the defensive end with Green also being listed out.

Sitting at 36-34 for the season, the Dubs held onto the sixth spot in the East. But given their abysmal road record, they may be in more trouble should they continue to lose games in this manner.
