Meanwhile, the league admitted that the referees missed at least seven calls towards the end of the LA Lakers-Dallas Mavericks game on Thursday. The Lakers asked for several foul calls late in the game in their 119-115 loss in double overtime.

A total of 68,323 fans watched the Golden State Warriors beat the San Antonio Spurs 144-113 inside the Alamodome. Spurs legend and Hall of Fame big man David Robinson addressed the crowd at the start of the game.
The previous record for attendance in an NBA game was 62,046, which happened at the Georgia Dome in March 1998. Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls easily beat the Atlanta Hawks that night, 89-74.
However, the record for attendance at any NBA event is 108,713. It was the 2010 All-Star Game inside the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

NBA releases L2M report for LA Lakers vs Dallas Mavericks game
The Dallas Mavericks outlasted the LA Lakers in double overtime on Thursday night. However, the game was marred by poor calls from start to end. Players from both teams were clearly frustated by how the game was called.
The NBA released the last two minute (L2M) reports for the game, and Lakers fans should be furious. The league admitted that there were seven missed calls and non-calls in the final two minutes of regulation and both overtime periods.
The most frustrating part for the Lakers was that Christian Wood should have been called for a foul on LeBron James' game-winning layup attempt at the end of first overtime. The Lakers were also upset about the non-call on Troy Brown Jr. at the end of the fourth quarter, but it was the right call, according to the report.

Suns drop to 10th place following defeat to Timberwolves
The Phoenix Suns dropped to tenth place in the Western Conference standings following their 121-116 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Suns now have a record of 21-23, losing eight of their last ten games, going 6-17 since December.
Devin Booker and Chris Paul were still out due to injuries, while DeAndre Ayton made his return. Ayton finished with 11 points and as many rebounds, while Damion Lee scored a career-high 31 points off the bench.

LA Clippers slump to 7th loss in 8 games
The LA Clippers continued to struggle on Friday night against the Denver Nuggets. The Clippers were unable to beat a Nuggets team that was without Nikola Jokic. Paul George was unavailable for the Clippers, but Kawhi Leonard was playing.
Leonard finished the game with 24 points, eight rebounds and four assists, but the Clippers still lost 115-103. They have now tasted defeat in seven of their last eight games and are seventh in the Western Conference with a 22-22 record.
