Stefanos Tsitsipas picks Rafael Nadal as the GOAT over Novak Djokovic, snubs Roger Federer for Michael Jordan

Stefanos Tsitsipas recently made some interesting picks during a fun Q&A, choosing Rafael Nadal as his GOAT athlete and putting Roger Federer below Michael Jordan as far as both of their legacies are concerned. He was not the only one who played the quiz as Alexander Zverev and Casper Ruud also took part in it.

Tsitsipas is serving as an alternate at this week's ATP Finals in Turin. During a media interaction with 433, the World No. 11 was asked to pick between certain top athletes. He understood the essence of the game and went for some rather brave picks.

Stefanos Tsitsipas began by taking four-time Major winner Carlos Alcaraz over Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham and Roger Federer over Alcaraz. Federer was then pitted against six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan, which got an interesting response from Tsitsipas.

"Oh, it's a difficult one. I'm sorry, Roger ... Michael Jordan," Tsitsipas said on Wednesday.

Tsitsipas proceeded to pick Jordan over 2022 FIFA World Cup winner Lionel Messi, before taking Muhammad Ali, one of the biggest sports figures of the 20th century, over the basketball legend. He then picked Ali over Cristiano Ronaldo but gave the edge to Rafael Nadal in his next pick.

Tsitsipas ended by picking Nadal over both LeBron James and Novak Djokovic, which means he believes the 22-time Major winner is the GOAT athlete.

Alexander Zverev also played the quiz with 433, beginning with Carlos Alcaraz over Jude Bellingham. He then picked Roger Federer over Alcaraz and Michael Jordan over Federer. He explained that the 20-time Major winner falling behind Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic in statistics was the primary reason for his pick.

"You know what? Michael Jordan is the GOAT of basketball," Zverev said. "Roger Federer isn't by the numbers."

He then took Jordan over Messi, Ali, Ronaldo, James and Nadal but stopped at Djokovic, as for him he is "the GOAT of our sport."

Casper Ruud also made interesting picks as he chose Messi over Federer and Ronaldo over Messi. Eventually, he took Nadal over Ronaldo. He also ended by picking Djokovic as his GOAT athlete.
