Draymond Green and Donovan Mitchell get chippy at the Warriors-Cavs matchup

The matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers took a turn when Donovan Mitchell and Draymond Green went physical with each other. The Warriors were trailing by 10 points at the 6:23 minute mark when Mitchell suddenly had a hard foul on Green.

Prior to the hack, Green screamed at Jarrett Allen, trying to invite retaliation. A few possessions later, Green set his sights on Mitchell and successfully forced the turnover. Both players were on the floor, with Green shouting at Mitchell.

After this, Steph Curry missed a three and Mitchell got the offensive board to initiate a fastbreak opportunity. He found Caris LeVert going to the hoop and as Mitchell tried to tail the break, Green bumped him while running at full speed, causing the six-foot-three guard to go off-balance.

Green then brought the ball to halfcourt and that is when Mitchell gave him the hard foul. Green did not like it as Mitchell was talking to him and pointing out what he did at the opposite end.

With Green already having one technical foul, the referees called another on him for an automatic ejection.
