LeBron James is known to be a family man who has supported his sons on numerous occasions in the past. However, that didn’t stop fans from having fun with James after clips surfaced of him at Sierra Canyon’s Midnight Madness event.

Some fans joked that James was only at the event to scout new players for his struggling LA Lakers. The Lakers are just 2-9 this season and 14th in the Western Conference.

“Looking for players to recruit,” one fan said.

Other fans joked that the Lakers are so bad that Sierra Canyon could beat them.

“Sierra Canyon could beat the Lakers rn,” one fan said.

Some fans also pointed out that LeBron James’ sons are likely the only reason he signed an extension with the Lakers. As Sierra Canyon is also located in LA.

“This why he signed the extension to stay in LA, had nothing to do with basketball,” one fan said.

However, some Lakers were more concerned with the fact that LeBron James recently sustained a leg muscle strain and should be resting.

James sustained the injury on Wednesday night against the LA Clippers. He is currently considered day-to-day, but he has already been ruled for the Lakers’ Friday home game against the Sacramento Kings.

“He really don't believe in rest huh,” one fan said.

Finally, other fans just took the opportunity to make fun of James’ entrance to the event. He was walking with a limp due to his injury. This led fans to compare him to a pimp as well as an old-time basketball star.

“What’s with the Bron pimp walk?” one fan said.
“When you walk in to your son’s game knowing you was the shit back in the day,” another fan said.

Regardless of the fan commentary, it was likely a relief for James to be able to support his sons amid the Lakers’ chaotic season.
