Serge Ibaka has been away from the Milwaukee Bucks for some time and has missed a significant number of games this season. Luckily for him, the Bucks have agreed to find a possible trade destination for him, which could help boost his morale.

Ibaka has only played 16 games this season. At the start of the season, the coaching staff gave him sizeable minutes. But it has dropped since Brook Lopez started to find his footing on both ends of the court. With Milwaukee's decision to trade the veteran big, we take a look at his contract with the team.

Before his arrival in Milwaukee, the shot-blocking big man was with the LA Clippers. He was traded to the Bucks at the trade deadline last season via a four-team trade that included the Detroit Pistons and the Sacramento Kings. Donte DiVincenzo went to the Kings, while Rodney Hood and Semi Ojeleye went to Los Angeles.

Last season, Ibaka only played 19 games for Milwaukee, and was mostly on the floor during garbage time. He averaged 7.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 0.4 blocks during those 19 games. During the offseason, the Bucks agreed to bring him back.

Over the summer, he signed a one-year deal worth $2.9 million. But he hasn't affected the Bucks significantly and could be traded next month. He still proved to be a reliable veteran off the bench and rebuilding teams could use a mentor like Ibaka.

He's avaraging 4.1 ppg, 2.8 rpg and 0.4 bpg. The only downside is that he's gets injured most of the time.

Which teams could trade for Serge Ibaka?

Serge Ibaka isn't the player he used to be. His injuries have slowed him down, which has resulted in him getting lesser minutes than usual. But aside from that, he's still a great rebounder and floor stretcher. This season, he's making 33.3% of his shots from beyond the arc, making him a reliable modern big.

Here are some teams who could use his services this season.

Brooklyn Nets

Aside from Nic Claxton, the Brooklyn Nets don't have a reliable big off the bench who can produce decently. Adding Ibaka could boost their rim protection and rebounding.

Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors have been disappointing this season, and their issues with their roster depth aren't helping them a lot. If they can bring back the veteran big man, things could start to fall in their favor.
