LeBron James dropped an accidental F-bomb during his speech after breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's scoring record, but will the NBA fine James for profanity on live television?

When "The King" broke the NBA's all-time scoring record in the final moments of the third quarter, the game was paused to celebrate the accomplishment. James was presented with a video tribute and was given ample time to give a moving speech.

"Everybody that has ever been a part of this run with me the last 20-plus years, I want to say thank you so much," James said. "Because I wouldn't be me without all y'all. All y'all helped. All y'all's passion and sacrifices helped me to get to this point.

To my beautiful wife, my daughter, my two boys, my friends, my boys, my family, my mother, everybody who's ever been a part of this ride with me the last 20 years, 20-plus years, I just want to say I thank you so much."

LeBron James also showed his gratitude to NBA commissioner Adam Silver, as well as late former commissioner David Stern.

"And to the NBA to Adam Silver, to the late great David Stern, thank you very much for allowing me to be a part of something I always dreamed about."

"The King" ended his speech on a hilarious note by dropping an F-bomb on live television.

"I would never ever in a million years dreamt this even better than what it is tonight," James said. "F**k, man. Thank you guys."

Could the NBA really punish James for cursing on TV despite his legendary accomplishment? The league could always make an exemption, but they fined Rudy Gobert $25,000 last season during a live broadcast when he was a member of the Utah Jazz.

LeBron James made history on Tuesday night against the OKC Thunder when he broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's scoring record that stood for almost 40 years. However, the Thunder spoiled the night, as they beat the LA Lakers 133-130 at home.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander showed why he's an All-Star, scoring 30 points and dishing out eight assists. Rookie forward Jalen Williams had a big game with 25 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Jaylin Williams, another rookie, put up 14 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

Meanwhile, James finished with 38 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Anthony Davis had a quiet night, contributing just 13 points and eight rebounds. Russell Westbrook added 27 points, four rebounds and eight assists off the bench.
