Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal engage in hilarious banter over weight comparisons

Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley's banter on NBA on TNT had social media in splits when they playfully roasted each other over weight comparisons. The duo got into it when the network hosted the segment during halftime between the New Orleans Pelicans and the OKC Thunder.

The coverage saw Kenny "The Jet" Smith, Barkley, and O'Neal take over for their in-depth game analysis, and the subject soon turned to good-natured humor between O'Neal and Barkley.

O'Neal: “I’m lighter than you.”
Barkley: “No you not. You ain't lighter than me, fata**.”

This isn't the first time that the two legends have engaged in good-natured ribbing, and safe to say, it surely won't be their last. Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley have been part of the network for quite some time, and their chemistry has been key to the show becoming a household name.

"I broke it up into three meals": Charles Barkley said he had a dozen doughnuts in one day

There was a time when Charles Barkley had a strong affinity for doughnuts. Once 'The Round Mound of Rebound' felt like munching some Krispy Kreme donuts.

In a previous interview, he recollected the time he ordered a dozen of them and split them to eat throughout the day.

“I broke it up into three meals. It was one Sunday morning and I said, ‘I just want some Krispy Kreme.’ So, I ordered a dozen, and I says, ‘Imma break it up into three meals.’ That’s all I ate the whole day.
"I had some restraint. I ate some about 9 o’clock in the morning, I ate some about 2 o’clock in the afternoon and I ate about 7 o’clock at night. It was a great meal day. “I am proud of that. I could have ate them all in one sitting. Cause I told you, boy when that hot sign on, your car just going into that little hot sign. That hot sign is dangerous.”

There's no denying that Charles Barkley loves his doughnuts. Once, the producers of the TNT show also made it extra special by gifting Barkley 53 boxes of donuts for his birthday to mark the number.

As for his banter with O'Neal, expect more of those to come as the playoffs progress with the two former MVPs taking shots at each other.
