Kawhi Leonard has had a down year this season for the LA Clippers as he recovers from the injuries he's suffered in the past few seasons. ESPN's Zach Lowe imparted his impatience with the team as they continue to struggle this year.

Like most fans, Lowe has grown impatient with the Clippers and their lack of dominance in the league.

"I'm running low on patience now, because this is year four of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. They've accomplished a lot, they made the conference finals, they broke the curse," Lowe said.
"When are we going to see the team [win] from more than three games in a row? When are we gonna value their regular season to try to actually play and get ready for the playoffs? Because it's year four, and we're still not there. And I understand the health concerns, I understand the rest concerns, I understand playing the long game."

"Here's the thing about playing for May and June, you have to get to May and June. They're sixth in the West right now. Stop messing around, make sure you don't get trapped in the Play-In... we're halfway through the season, and it still isn't there yet."

The Clippers have had a bumpy start to their season due to a plethora of injuries to their All-Star duo. Leonard has only played 17 games as he slowly recovers from his ACL injury. Paul George, on the other hand, has managed to play 30 games for the Los Angeles squad.

The Clippers(21-19) lost to the Denver Nuggets(25-13) by 31 points(122-91) in the Ball Arena.

Los Angeles has lost four games in a row and will look to get back in the win column tonight. The Clippers will play against the Minnesota Timberwolves in hopes of improving their record.

Are the Clippers and Kawhi Leonard too focused on postseason basketball?

The comments made by Kawhi Leonard in December didn't sit well with some NBA analysts. Back then, the Clippers were struggling mightily to get some wins. Leonard then shared his thoughts on how the team's season has been.

"I don't want to be here tonight. I'm focusing on the end of the year. Playoff basketball," Leonard said.

Chris Broussard, a well-known analyst, was not pleased with Leonard's remarks. He was "belittling" the regular season for him, focusing too much on post-season play. The Clippers, ironically, were struggling to win games during the regular season, which is required to qualify for the playoffs.

"Kawhi belittling the regular season is a HORRIBLE LOOK for him, the Clippers, and the NBA!"

Kawhi's statement hasn't aged well, as his team is still not guaranteed a playoff spot. Lowe elaborated on this, stating that in order for the Clippers to play in May, they must first earn a spot in the playoffs.
