The LA Lakers are among the interested teams in Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls. The latest rumors suggest that the Lakers are monitoring the situation in Chicago. LaVine signed a max contract in the summer, but the Bulls have been very inconsistent this season.

Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported that the LA Lakers are one of at least four teams monitoring the Chicago Bulls' situation. The Bulls are having a tough season ahead of the NBA trade deadline. It's certainly possible that they could enter a rebuild by trading Zach LaVine, a two-time All-Star.
Scotto also named the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat as potential suitors of LaVine. It was also pointed out that LaVine went to UCLA, and he's represented by Klutch Sports. The agency's CEO is Rich Paul, who also represents LeBron James.
An anonymous NBA executive told Sean Deveney of Heavy Sports last month that LaVine is interested in joining the Lakers. He's averaging 23.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.0 steals this season. He's shooting 46.5% from the field and 40.1% from beyond the arc.
DeMarcus Cousins to work out with LA Lakers

Haynes noted that Cousins has been working out six days a week in Las Vegas. The 32-year-old big man is looking to impress a Lakers team looking to alleviate the loss of Anthony Davis, who remains out with a foot injury.
Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report urged the Lakers to take a look at Cousins last month. Cousins is still a serviceable player, who averaged 8.9 points and 5.5 rebounds in 13.9 minutes last season. The Lakers and all other teams in the NBA can now sign players to ten-day contracts.
