#3 Christian Wood

The New York Knicks need a player who is very good at the four and the five, and Christian Wood's development in both positions needs to attract the interest of the franchise.

The 25-year-old is impressive on the inside and has great touch around the rim. From the outside, Wood shot an elite 38.6% from deep. While it would be hard-pressed to call the player a floor spacer on just 2.3 attempts from three per game, he has shown he can be a capable shooter when needed.

The New York Knicks need versatility on their roster, and overall, Christan Wood would be a very positive addition to the team.

#2 Jerami Grant

According to NBA rumors, several contenders are interested in acquiring Jerami Grant this off-season, and justifiably so.

The player is an elite team defender, and can have an impact against the best in the NBA on that end of the floor. Offensively, Grant is a very complete player. He is impressive while driving to the rim, but can also knock down outside shots in clutch moments.

Given that Jerami Grant could look to leave Denver, the New York Knicks need to try their best to acquire the player this off-season.

#1 Fred VanVleet

Fred VanVleet has broken out as a star in the NBA over the last few seasons with the Toronto Raptors. And as the 26-year-old enters free agency, various franchises from around the league are interested.

VanVleet is elite on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he is one of the best shooters in the league. He is also a gifted shot creator and floor general. Defensively, the player never stops running, being a nuisance for the opposition to have to keep an eye on and deal with.

Fred VanVleet would quite simply be the best possible free agent signing for the New York Knicks this off-season.
