The first was the Kings' 147-142 double overtime loss to the Portland Trail Blazers back on Jan. 6, 1989. They also won 142-117 against the Golden State Warriors just one month later on Feb. 9, 1989.

More recently, Sacramento blew out the Phoenix Suns 142-119 on Jan. 2, 2016. They also beat the Orlando Magic 142-130 just last season on Dec. 8, 2021.

The Kings’ fourth-highest point total in a game is 143 points. That came in a 155-143 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Mar. 4, 1989. Warriors star shooting guard Mitch Richmond dropped 47 points to lead Golden State in that game. Meanwhile, guard Danny Ainge scored a team-high 45 points for Sacramento.
