Watch: Steph Curry straight-out picks himself over Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and other NBA GOATs: "Mike I love you man, it's me"

Steph Curry was recently named Sportsperson of the Year by Sports Illustrated. During his interview with the publication, the Golden State Warriors star was asked to compare himself to other legends of the sport. Curry was initially quizzed about LA Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, to which he responded:

"I love you, Kobe, man, but I gotta go with myself, right?"

San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan was the next legend mentioned. The four-time NBA MVP stated:

"Coach [Steve] Kerr always likes to compare us and our leadership abilities, but I could shoot off the glass too, Timmy D, so I'm gonna go with me."

Next up was Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird, who Curry also picked himself over, noting:

"That's a great shooting competition right there, but, as you'd expect, I'm winning that one too."

LA Lakers star LeBron James was the next name mentioned. Curry and James have had four battles in the NBA Finals, with Curry winning three. The two-time NBA MVP stated:

"What do you think? What do you expect me to say? It's me."

Finally, Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan was mentioned, drawing a similar response as Kobe Bryant, as Curry responded:

"Mike, I love you man, it's me."

Steph Curry did a legendary Jordan shrug as he answered the final question. While the comments will likely face backlash, it is important to note that they were made in good nature. Furthermore, Curry's mentality of believing he is the best player should be every player's mindset.
