Zaccharie Risacher and the Atlanta Hawks took on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday to try to win their second game in the last five matchups. After becoming the second team to beat the Cavaliers this season in the prior game (135-124), the Hawks entered this duel with high expectations.

Coming off a 17-point performance on Wednesday, Risacher entered this game set to have a similar or better game.

He played five minutes, making an early impact with four teams (1-from-1 from the field, including a 3-point shot and 1-from-2 from the free-throw line). The rookie forward also blocked one shot for the Hawks, who took the first quarter 29-27 at State Farm Arena.

He played four more minutes in the second quarter but didn't attempt a single field goal. Instead, Risacher grabbed two rebounds for a discreet period. All in all, the Hawks tied this period 23-23 but still entered halftime with a 52-50 advantage.

Zaccharie Risacher played five more minutes in the third quarter, attempting two 3-pointers and making one. He finished with seven points while adding one more rebound and posting a plus-minus +3, much better than the -7 he finished the first quarter with.

The fourth quarter saw Risacher play seven more minutes, finishing with 21. He scored four more points, dished an assist and stole one ball to round up a decent performance. The Hawks beat the Cavaliers again, this time 117-101. Risacher scored 11 points, grabbed three rebounds and dished one assist while shooting 4-from-8 from the field and 2-from-4 from beyond the arc.

Zaccharie Risacher, Atlanta Hawks beat Cavaliers for the second straight game

Zaccharie Risacher and the Atlanta Hawks have the Cleveland Cavaliers' number this NBA season. They are 2-0 in their regular-season series after tonight's result. Atlanta had won its most recent game 135-124 on Wednesday, giving the Cavs their second loss of the season.

After a close first half, they went off in the third quarter to extend their lead to 18 points (39-23). Cleveland won the fourth quarter, but only by two points (28-26)as it dropped its third game of the season.

The Hawks boast a 9-11 record after this matchup while the Cavs keep the league-best record of 17-3. After a terrific start to the season, they lost to the Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks, but Kenny Atkinson's squad still looks dangerous.
