American professional basketball player Caitlin Clark plays for the Women's National Basketball Association's (WNBA) Indiana Fever. While playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes, Clark won two national female college basketball player of the year awards and is still the all-time top scorer in NCAA Division I. She was named an All-American and led the NCAA Division I in scoring during her rookie season with Iowa.

Clark became the first women's player to top Division I in points and assists in a single season as a sophomore and was unanimously selected to the first team of the American Football Association. She led Iowa to its first national championship game and was named national player of the year in her junior year.

The Iowa standout who was selected first overall in the WNBA draft has reached an agreement with Nike for an eight-year contract worth $28 million, which includes a signature shoe. Clark has the highest-paying shoe contract in women's basketball history as a result. Since 2022, when she was beginning to get national recognition with the Hawkeyes, Clark has been with Nike. At the conclusion of the 2023–24 academic year, her contract for name, image, and likeness was terminated.

Recently, Clark joined the Boys and Girls Club of Central Iowa to commemorate 60 years of building brighter futures for young people. In order to protect the young people in her town from the cold, she partnered with Nike to donate 85 sweatshirts, 75 pairs of winter gloves, and 85 caps to the event. In addition, she gave away 15 footballs, 12 soccer balls, 15 jump ropes, and 57 basketballs. The value of her donation was around $13,000. Additionally, Clark gave $22,000 of her own money to help the Boys and Girls Club of Central Iowa with its operations.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa will receive 1,000 books from Caitlin Clark and Scholastic as per a partnership in March 2025. This is what Caitlin Clark said after the partnership: "I recall how empowering it was for me as a child to choose the books from the Scholastic flyer, and how inspired I was to read."
