
Caitlin Elizabeth Clark is a basketball player from the United States. She is a member of the Indiana Fever of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). While playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes, Clark won two national female college basketball player of the year awards and is still the all-time top scorer in NCAA Division I.
In her hometown of West Des Moines, Iowa, Clark attended Dowling Catholic High School, where she was ranked as the fourth-best player in her class by ESPN and was awarded a McDonald's All-American honor.

Caitlin Clark's college basketball career began with the Iowa Hawkeyes during her freshman 2020/21 season. During the season, she recorded her first double-double in a win against the Drake Bulldogs and her first triple-double in a victory against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.
She was the first player from Iowa to achieve a triple-double after Samantha Logic did in 2015. She even led her team to be the runners-up of the Big Ten Conference. After the season ended, Clark was honored as Big Ten Freshman of the Year and included in the First Team All-American in 2021.
For her sophomore 2021/22 season, Caitlin Clark broke the record of Kelsey Mitchell and became the fastest player from the Big Ten Conference to acquire 1000 points in her career. After the end of the season, she was honored as the Big Ten Player of the Year in 2022. Furthermore, she also won the Nancy Lieberman Award as a guard in 2022.
During her junior 2022/23 season, Caitlin Clark led her team to the Big Ten Tournament Championship for the second time. However, she was also involved in an incident with Angel Reese when the latter made a “you can’t see me” gesture to the former.
