Jeremiah Smith is a collegiate football wide receiver for the Ohio State Buckeyes, representing the Ohio State University in the Big Ten Conference. He was born on November 29, 2005, in Miami Gardens, Florida, U.S., and is in his freshman year, as of December 2024. Smith, who was raised in Hollywood, Florida, attended Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School. In his high school, he recorded 31 receptions for 667 yards and seven touchdowns in his sophomore season. Additionally, as a junior, Jeremiah caught 58 passes for 1,073 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Jeremiah went on to win the FHSAA Class 2A state championship in the 110 and 400-meter hurdles while he was in his junior year in 2022. As a senior, he was an All-American and also bagged the All-American Bowl Player of the Year Award. Recruited as a five-star recruit, the WR was the top-ranked prospect of the 2024 college football class. Although the player got many offers from several top universities, Jeremiah decided to enroll at Ohio State. Jeremiah had a remarkable debut against the Akron Zips as he recorded six receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns during their 52-6 victory. He was also a member of the 2024 Ohio State recruiting class.
