Kaytron Allen is a junior running back for the Penn State Nittany Lions as of the 2024-2025 season. Hailing from Norfolk, Virginia, United States, he developed his football skills at IMG Academy, where he represented the IMG Academy Ascenders. Notably, he served as the captain of his team as a senior. Following the end of his high school career, Kaytron Allen was selected as a four-star recruit and chose to start his college football career with the Penn State Nittany Lions in 2022.

His football playing skills have allowed him to achieve 2591 rushing yards in 512 rushing attempts and make 22 touchdowns in 39 games so far in his career. He also became the recipient of the Second-team All-Big Ten honors in 2023. He also became the Offensive MVP of the team the same year.

As of the 2024 season, Allen played 10 games, starting five of the games. Allen rushed for 654 yards on 139 carries with five touchdowns. He added 12 receptions for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Allen became a two-time coaching staff's Offensive Player of the Game and was on the watchlist of the Doak Walker Award Watch List.
