American football safety Shilo D. Sanders currently plays for the Colorado Buffaloes. He is the son of Deion Sanders, the head coach of the Buffaloes and a cornerback in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Sanders recorded two tackles and a fumble recovery in his debut season with the Gamecocks in 2019. He would make his second career entry into the NCAA transfer portal following the end of the 2022 campaign. Sanders made the decision to move to Colorado in 2023 where he led the team in tackles (70) along with three pass breakups and one fumble recovery.
