Ty Robinson is a defensive lineman who played his final year of college football with the Nebraska Cornhuskers in 2024. Born on May 3, 2001, Ty Robinson started his high school football career at Higley High School, where he was one of the four finalists for the All-American Bowl National Defensive Player of the Year. The four-star prospect from Gilbert helped his school reach the Arizona 5A semi-finals for the third consecutive season during his senior year when he recorded 74 tackles, 34 tackles for loss, and seven sacks. Robinson was one of the top defensive lineman recruits in the 2019 recruiting class and was rated the No.98 player in the nation.

Coming out of Higley as one of the top players in the state of Arizona, Robinson started his collegiate football career with Nebraska over offers from Arizona State, Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Iowa State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, Texas A&M, and USC. He redshirted his freshman season after playing only three games and stepped into a more prominent role the following season. In 2020, Robinson appeared in eight games, recording 17 tackles and 2.0 tackles for loss, and redshirted for the second time in two years. The following year as a redshirt freshman, Robinson made a career-high 27 tackles with 4.0 tackles for loss and two sacks. Last season, Robinson posted a career-high 29 tackles while also recording four tackles for loss and six pass breakups. The 6-foot-5, 288-pound lineman announced he would enter the 2025 NFL draft, concluding his sixth and final college football season.
