Jeff and Laura Nixon are the parents of Will Nixon. His father played college football at both West Virginia and Penn State and has coached at various colleges and NFL teams. He served as the running backs coach for the Carolina Panthers. He is currently serving as running back coach for the New York Giants.

Nixon also has three other siblings, Jasmine, Laura, and Marcus. Jasmine and Marcus are both athletically inclined.
