#4. Shikhar Dhawan (Sunrisers Hyderabad) – 7.5/10
The left-handed opening batsman from Delhi played for the newly crowned champions Sunrisers Hyderabad in this IPL. Dhawan didn’t have a great start to the tournament as he carried his poor World T20 form into the tournament. But the aggressive opener showed his calibre in the second half of the tournament and played some match winning knocks.
Shikhar finished the tournament as the second highest run-scorer for his team. In 17 matches this season, he scored 501 runs at an average of 32.53 and with a strike-rate of 116.78. The Delhi-born batsman also scored four half-centuries along the way and played the sheet-anchor role for his side.
