Ravindra Jadeja failed to impress in the ninth edition of the IPL

The Saurashtra-born all-rounder played this year’s cash-rich tournament for the Gujarat Lions. He struggled in this year’s competition with both bat and ball.

In 15 matches this season the left-handed batsman only scored 191 runs at an average of 21.22 and with a strike-rate of 107.30 which is quite poor for a lower middle-order batsman in T20s. He also didn’t shine with the ball as the slow left-arm bowler picked up only 8 wickets in the tournament with an average of over 38.
