The 35-year-old off-spinner was a key member of the Mumbai Indians team this season. The Punjab-born bowler had quite a poor outing for his team in this year’s IPL.

In 14 matches he only picked up 9 wickets at an average of 43.55 and with an expensive economy rate of 8. Harbhajan also failed with the bat as he only managed to score 84 runs in the tournament after playing a valiant knock of 45 not out in the first match of the campaign.
