The 36-year-old left-arm pacer has been superb since his comeback to the Indian team and was a key member of the World T20 squad. The Delhi-born cricketer featured in this year’s tournament for the champions Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Nehra played only 8 matches this season before being ruled out of the tournament with an injury. The veteran fast bowler picked up 9 wickets at an average of 22.11 and with a strike-rate of 7.65. The Delhi pacer had a decent tournament this year but endured a career-threatening injury and missed the second half.
