The 22-year-old right-arm pacer continued his impressive run of performances in this year’s IPL. The Ahmedabad-born bowler impressed everyone since his debut in India’s tour of Australia. He played for the Mumbai Indians in this year’s tournament.

In 14 matches the right-arm fast bowler picked up 15 wickets at an average of 27.06 and with an economy rate of 7.80. In the absence of Lasith Malinga, Bumrah spearheaded the pace attack of Mumbai and bowled with a lot of heart.
