5 exciting GTA 6 features fans hope to see (that GTA 5 hasn't)

It goes without saying that fans’ wishlist for GTA 6 features is long, and there are good reasons for it. It’s been over a decade since we got the last GTA installment, and some of the game’s features have started to become outdated. Rockstar Games is expected to introduce a bunch of new and returning features. Meanwhile, fans are also sharing what features they want to see on forums and discussions.

This article lists five of the exciting GTA 6 features that fans wish to see in the game.

1) Dating and hangout features

Dating is one of the most popular side activities in the GTA series games, and Rockstar should bring it back in the upcoming game. While GTA 5 has the hangout feature, it is not as exciting as before. Moreover, avoiding hangouts has no impact on the player, except for missing some background details.

Therefore, dating and hanging out with NPCs should be among the major GTA 6 features.

2) More emphasis on story mode

Many fans want Rockstar to put more emphasis on the upcoming game’s story mode. In the current game, the studio is primarily focused on the online multiplayer version, seemingly abandoning the story mode.

However, the community wants Rockstar to continue to add new GTA 6 features after the game’s release. GTA 5 has not gotten any story mode expansions to date. Therefore, fans want the studio to release single-player DLCs in the upcoming game.

3) Cheat codes

Cheat codes have always been an integral part of the Grand Theft Auto experience, and many fans want them as one of the GTA 6 features. Rockstar has been seemingly reducing the number of cheat codes in the newer titles. This is evident from the tally below:

GTA San Andreas - 90 cheats
GTA 4 - 16 cheats
GTA 5 - 34 cheats

Cheats are a legacy feature of the franchise, and Rockstar should increase and improve them in the upcoming installment.

4) More interiors

Fans have long been asking for an increased number of interiors on the GTA 6 map. At the same time, the player base also criticized the Grand Theft Auto 5 map for having fewer enterable buildings. Even though the current game’s open world is big, it lacks internal exploration.

Therefore, Rockstar should consider making internal exploration one of the major GTA 6 features. It should be similar (or rather better) than what we got in San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto 4.

5) A witty trophy

The wait for Grand Theft Auto 6 is long and it is yet to over. Some fans want Rockstar to add an achievement or trophy for playing the game. The studio is known for trolling fans on various occasions, and including such a GTA 6 feature will add to the humor.

The second trailer began with a humorous aspect where Jason told Brian that he was fixing some leaks. Fans would love to see classic Rockstar humor return in the upcoming game.
