Minecraft Dungeons is a dungeon crawler video game developed by Mojang Studios and Double Eleven and published by Xbox Game Studios. It was released in the year 2020 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows and Xbox One.
Unlike Minecraft, Minecraft Dungeons does not feature an open world nor mining or
building.Players explore procedurally generated and hand crafted dungeons filled with
randomly-generated monsters and also deal with traps, puzzles, bosses and finding treasure There is no class system; players can use any weapon or armour they wish.
Minecraft Dungeons is set in the same fictional world as Minecraft, known as the Overworld, consisting of rough 3D objects, mainly cubes and fluids, and commonly called blocks and inhabited by both peaceful and hostile mobs. Unlike Minecraft, the game has a story-driven campaign.
The player needs to brave the dungeons alone, or team up with friends! Up to four players can battle together through action-packed, treasure-stuffed, wildly varied levels—all in an epic quest to save the villagers and take down the evil Arch-Illager. You can unlock over 250 unique artefacts, gear and enchantments to perform and survive devastating special attacks. You can even personalize your character and fight.
