American mixed martial artist Chris Daukaus, a former police officer, competes in the Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. As of June 2023, he is currently ranked 13th among heavyweights in the UFC.
In his 11 professional fights, Daukaus, a Martinez BJJ member since October 2013, amassed an 8-3 record, winning six by knockout and one by decision. Daukaus has competed in the CES MMA, Ring of Combat, and Cage Fury Fighting Championships.
On short notice, Daukaus made his UFC debut against Parker Porter at UFC 252 on August 15, 2020. He won the fight via technical knockout after knocking Porter out in the first round with a series of punches and a knee.
UFC Fight Night: Moraes vs. Sandhagen featured a match between Rodrigo Nascimento and Daukaus on October 11, 2020. He received the Performance of the Night honor for his triumph.
At UFC Fight Night 211 on October 1, 2022, Daukaus was scheduled to face Jairzinho Rozenstruik. On December 10, 2022, the fight was switched to UFC 282 for an unnamed reason. A technical knockout ended the match against Daukaus.
