At 14, he and his father relocated to Las Vegas to seek better opportunities for his burgeoning boxing career. Devin Haney made his professional boxing debut on December 11, 2015, at the age of 17. He faced Rafael Vasquez in a four-round bout at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, California. Haney won the fight via unanimous decision.
