Terence Allan Crawford is an American boxer. Nicknamed “Bud”, he is the current WBO welterweight champion. Additionally, he has also held WBO and The Ring lightweight titles, WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO and Ring light welterweight titles.

Crawford made his professional boxing debut on March 14, 2008, when he knocked out Brain Cummings in Round 1. He is considered to be the world’s third best active boxer, pound for pound, by ESPN. Crawford is a switch-hitter and can change stances from southpaw to orthodox and vice versa while delivering powerful hits in both stances. He is also known for his IQ in the ring and countering punches from his opponents.

Terence Crawford has been on an undefeated winning streak since he made his professional boxing debut in 2008. He won all 40 fights of his career, out of which he won 31 by knockout. He will face Israil Madrimov in his upcoming fight on August 3, 2024.
