Tatiana Suarez’s UFC Career

In the reality show "The Ultimate Fighter," Suarez emerged as a standout participant, defeating Chel-c Bailey to become the number one pick for coach Cláudia Gadelha. She continued her dominance in the quarter-finals by submitting JJ Aldrich with a rear-naked choke and followed it up with a guillotine choke victory against Kate Jackson in the semi-finals.

In the finals, Suarez faced Amanda Cooper and secured a win via D'Arce choke, earning her the strawweight tournament title and the Performance of the Night bonus. However, injuries caused her to miss some scheduled fights, including one against Juliana Lima at UFC Fight Night in 2016.

She returned to the octagon and achieved success against Viviane Pereira, Alexa Grasso, Carla Esparza, and Nina Ansaroff in subsequent fights. After a long hiatus, Suarez came back to defeat Montana De La Rosa with a guillotine choke at UFC Fight Night in 2023, earning another Performance of the Night bonus.

Scheduled to face Virna Jandiroba on August 5, 2023, at UFC Fight Night 226, Jandiroba's knee injury led to her replacement by Jéssica Andrade.
